These are the terms that apply when you browse ninefathom.com or place an order. They're written to be read.
Made to order
Most of what we sell is produced when you order it. Apparel takes a few business days to make; golf bags and footwear are built to order over 3–6 weeks and are final sale. Timing, delivery and returns are spelled out in Shipping & Returns, which is part of these terms.
Built on the best
Nine Fathom pieces are built on base products from makers we respect — adidas, Champion, Vessel, and FootJoy among them — then finished with our marks. Nine Fathom is an independent brand: we are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by those companies, and their trademarks belong to them.
Orders & pricing
All prices are in U.S. dollars and may change without notice. An order is accepted when we confirm it by email. We reserve the right to cancel and fully refund any order — including where an obvious pricing or listing error slipped through.
Our marks
The Nine Fathom name, the seabird, the crest, and the words and photography on this site belong to us. The Gustave Doré engravings are public domain, as is the poem that named us. Please don't reuse our marks or content commercially without asking first.
Liability
We stand behind every piece as described. To the fullest extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the item in question.
